About Sarah
Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate with a rich background in social work. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Auburn University and her Master's of Social Work from the University of Memphis. Sarah’s professional experience spans various settings, including criminal justice, domestic violence shelters, and working with foster care and adoptive families.
Sarah is dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for her clients, where they can feel truly seen and heard. She believes in the transformative power of therapy as a space to explore and make sense of one's story, address thought patterns, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships. Her approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, integrating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic attachment-based therapy. She she primarily works with teens, college and graduate students, and young adults.
Sarah resides in Chapel Hill with her husband, Trevor, and their golden retriever, Dolly. When not working she enjoys being outside, exploring coffee shops and restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
